My feelings about Hannity aside, that was classic mob mentality in action. All that was lacking were the torches. Really no need for that kind of display. What's to keep something like that from escalating to the next level, and who becomes fair game and who does not?

I understand their frustration even if I abhor their candidate - he isn't being treated equally to the other party candidates and they wanted to express their outrage. Obviously every other avenue they tried didn't work and they were upset (but following a celebrity 'newsman' and taunting him isn't the same as hurting him physically).

Anyone remember the wall to wall coverage of Sean Hannity's crowd outside Terri Schiavo's hospice? If he thought that was fair, he will lose the argument that this crowd shouldn't express themselves to him!

Another point made on that comment thread that I agree with:

"I think Hannity deserved every bit of what he got.

Those young men did nothing more than express themselves to a public figure who has no trouble being a pr*** when isolated in a broadcast studio.
