Clintons Do Cheney - Have they jumped the shark with fearmongering?
Dick Cheney in 2004: "It's absolutely essential that eight weeks from today, on Nov. 2, we make the right choice, because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we'll get hit again and we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States."

Hillary Clinton today:

"I don't think it was by accident that Al-Qaeda decided to test the new prime minister...They watch our elections as closely as we do, maybe more than our fellow citizens do."

Bill Clinton in December 2007:

"You have to have a leader who is strong and commanding and convincing enough ... to deal with the unexpected...There is a better than 50 percent chance that sometime in the first year or 18 months of the next presidency, something will happen that is not being discussed in this campaign."

1. Well, it was a mistake to be sure...
FEAR has nothing to do with the change people have in mind!

4. Proving day after day she's the candidate of status quo....
Between this and the "don't make promises to the little people" comment at the debate, she really has shown her DLC colors...

It's a shame. I'm ready to elect ANYONE, gender and race aside, as president if they have the best ideas. Alas, Hillary Clinton is HARDLY that candidate for me.

2. A serious point. Krushchev tested the untried Kennedy and we had the Cuban
Missile Crisis. It wasn't much fun planning where to head for shelter in those days.

I have a cousin with lung problems from 9/11 rescue operations. That was a preventable attack.

I think the testing period is something we all need to be prepared for as a country.

It might take the form of a war between Turkey and northern Iraq or a big attack in Pakistan.

6. Hillary's toast, and it is probably for the best. This isn't courage and leadership we're seeing.
This is desperation, and that is NOT something that should take the Oval Office.
