To the bashers and the haters

It's great to be passionate about your candidate, really, it is. And it's great to point out the differences between your guy (or gal) and the next one. Even bashing and body slamming is OK in moderation, politics is a full-contact sport.

But the level of hatered and intolerance I've seen here is beyond disturbing, it's disgusting. Even though I'm new here, I'm an old hand at foruming (and at political activism, for that matter) and I know that any popular board attracts it's share of idiots and trolls. The thing is, it seems to be swamping any intelligent debate and discourse.

No big deal, it's just a forum, right? Wrong, boyo's. MSM has picked up the unprecedented level of Hillary-bashing coming from the liberal internet. Quote: "They sound like Republicans". And this forum is one of the more visible spots on the web. Not sayin Coop or Wolf are reading the posts, but damn sure one of their staffers checks in here occasionally.

So...to the haters, consider that you are playing right into the hands of the reich-wing, and doing their work for them. For that I am disgusted, and you should be ashamed.

And btw, TRY to remember that the main goal for most of us is getting the right-wingnuts out of office, and out of our lives, so we can end this fucking war and start dealing with the real problems this country faces. The problems are very real, very severe and deserve better (no, deserve the best) from anyone who gives a tinkers dam about America, and the world.
