George P. Bush:Young Professionals for Fred (Thompson) Leadership
Thompson Campaign Announces Young Professionals for Fred Leadership

"Today the Fred Thompson campaign announced its Young Professionals for Fred Thompson national and local leadership. George Prescott Bush will serve as the National Chair of the organization..."

"As a young professional, I am pleased to support Senator Fred Thompson because of his consistent conservative record in public service and sincere vision to pursue a reform-based domestic agenda in Washington D.C," said George P. Bush. "From addressing grave forecasts in connection with the efficacy of Social Security to the recent endorsement he received from the National Right to Life Committee, Senator Thompson has demonstrated in short order that he is the most reliable spokesman for conservative values in this presidential election cycle."

In case you didn't know...or forgot

George P Bush is in the grooming process...solidifying his bona fides.

Let Shrub walk and the Bush name remains viable. If anyone is counting on people's memories to stop the next Bush...I'm LMAO.

Que Viva Thompson? (Roughly: Hooray for Thompson!)

but

Ya Vive Thompson? (Is Thompson still alive?)

12. yep, the only rational conclusion is
Fred is dead once he is set up as Veep. In come the backdoor Bushes. If you want to preserve Fred a little longer than he would last as Veep, for any reason, please spread this "shocking" "conpsiracy theory".

but I am surprised that the tinfoil crowd has gone so quiet. It is an EASY way in for Jeb and a SURE backdoor approach to move into the crony's second spot, like Cheney. People ASSUME that it is OK for Bush to wait a term and mop up the deck of surviving democracy. I don't think they have been acting like they consider an interregnum an option. Maybe Poppy thought so, but the brothers? I don't think with all the stuff he has done himself, he knows half the things his boys are up to. It is the WH or Paraguay or the tedious task of pulling down all the house of cards on top of the studiously naive Dem. yet the type of mess, economic disaster and enemies they would leave behind tell me that this is not their first plan.

They can crumble and be be defeated, but they will follow the paths of power. If I can stop one thing by simply saying it is imaginable, possible, likely but is not because the spotlight withers it, all the better. But, no one will harbor this thought, no one will speak it and it will unfold anyway so long as they have to do it.

Then again maybe Mitt would dare make Jeb his running mate straight off. It's only a question of HOW quick and easy they want things to keep going their way. Last time I looked the main cost of their failures has only been in our bodies and minor GOP stooges replaced by worse, or complacent Dems. They have mainly simply gotten their way by any means they chose.

So why is there a Bush scion backing the old washout who doesn't even WANT to campaign and gets little real support? These aren't the Kennedys having honest feelings about different, good candidates. And Thompson at this point is NOT about the dynasty hedging its bets. if you were task them you might get the honest first step admission that having a bunch of minor candidates backed by Bushes allows them to ally and boost the one they want. Thompson, McCain and Romney teamed against Huckabee with McCain as usual getting the eventual short end. McCain's own age gives them a similar Fred is dead option, but I think they mightily prefer Fred.
