WASHINGTON -- A high school sophomore from the District organized a peaceful protest outside Monday night's "Hannah Montana: Best of Both Worlds" concert at the Verizon Center.

Julie Pinero said she and other fans are upset with how tickets were released by the concert promoter, sold by Ticketmaster and bought in bulk by scalpers. She said ticket prices were driven up so high that many fans can't attend the show.

Other artists sell out quickly. Other artists charge ridiculous prices. Other artists' tickets are scalped. Other artists use Ticketmaster.
