5. YES THEY ARE! That's why I can't the media seem surprised by the HUGH turnouts.

Even my apolitical husband said it was because people are so angry with ShrubCo and what they've done to the country. We were working on remodeling our kitchen and I was really surprised when he said that as the TV reporter was talking about how big the turnout was in Iowa. He usually doesn't pay any attention to politics or anything anyone says about it.

I'm really afraid of what's going to happen in November. I haven't heard much about anyone making sure there are enough voting machines to prevent the LONG LINES in many areas, or equipment breakdowns. I know I physically CAN'T stand in line for hours. The other thing is the damn DRE machines. The only major change was in California. As angry as people have been because of the hankey pankey of the 2004 election, here we are aproaching another presidential election and we STILL have major problems with equipment!

6. Obama has pulled out more voters than any candidate...

He knows what needs to be done to over-ride any fraud get out the vote get out the vote. He's encouraged more voters but not all moved to Obama but enough have to make him successful in Iowa. His organisational capacity tells me he won't be a do nothing president. I concede that not everything he will do will please us but I do feel he is practical enough to make enough of the right decisions.

8. I'm actually curious what it does for McCain

If the independents go so overwhelmingly to Obama that it hurts McCain or if they both make out big winners. If McCain loses here he's toast (and I actually find him the only republican with a chance in the GE)
