I got a phone call last night from some polling group...

... and they wanted to know if I like our governor (Daniels, here in IN), if I liked some politicians who might run against him in 2008, and if I like some other pols I never heard of.

And then we got down to it: Hoosiers have been crapping their collective drawers over property taxes. Most school systems are grossly underfunded, so property taxes are a pretty key issue here. The polling lady asked me a brazillion questions about various proposals for getting rid of property taxes, all of which were total bullshit. I told her I hated all of them. So, after we went through each one, one-by-one, and I told her I "strongly oppose" every one, she asked me which one I found most attractive:

"None of them. I hate them all."
"But I need an answer."
"The answer is none."
"So, would that be option A, B, C, D, or E?"

God freaking gawd. Somebody's going to use this friggin' poll as evidence that X% of Indianans favor plan B for eliminating property taxes.
