Is America really ready for a White, Christian, Male president?

I worry about stuff like this all the time, I mean, some of them Christians are way out there as far as religions go, most are fine folks of course, but the more radical ones are really quite dangerous. I don't know if America is really ready for a real Christian president, would we all have to act like Christ then? That could get pretty complicated, pretty quick.

And a MAN for president? Men are known the world over as war-like and territorial as hell, they love to blow shit up and have victory parades and they see foreign policy as if it were the super bowl, plus God knows they go totally horny when they get to the upper echelons of power and can be easily compromised.

And a WHITE president? Have you ever looked at the history of these people? Once they move into the neighborhood, that's it, it's over, pack it up and find a new place to live, you DON'T want to live next door to them, believe me, I know.

I just can't see America run into the ground and turned into a third world country under the leadership of some rich, Caucasian, anglo-saxon, well connected, Lutheran, woman chasing, nation invading, church going, Jesus loving, golf playing, trouser wearing, white, Christian man, and I hope to God it never happens in my lifetime.

says an elderly priest who was visiting my parents at Christmas. I said "well I wish they would talk about gender - I'd like to talk about why anyone would want another white male in the White House after how Bush performed." Of course, the priest insisted that "history was going to look favorably on President Bush because we haven't been attacked again in 6 years". I said "you're kidding, right?"

I could have asked why we were ever attacked in the first place (ignoring Clinton's warnings) or mentioned that "celibate" white guys haven't done too much for the cause of The Catholic Priesthood in the US recently, but out of respect for the three 80+ year old devout Catholics in the room, I let it drop and changed the subject. They're all going to vote "pro life" anyway, so no minds would have been changed.
