Last Friday I went to New Hampshire with a couple of friends. We got up there in time to crash a Rudy rally and then a Romney rally, Saturday we saw Obama and then Bill Clinton, Sunday we saw Hillary and Edwards, it was freaking great. Our Hotel was where all the McCain and Ron Paul folks were staying, thats right, we ended up in the heart of enemy territory, Sunday I watched the 1st half of the Steelers game with TOm Ridge, former Homeland Security Secretary, yeah... the guy who called a terror alert in the middle of the 2004 democratic convention.

In the evenings the press and staffers were at the Hotel bar, I talked Rep. Chris Shays from Conn, Senator Lindsey Graham. I met the Wonkette, Maureen Dowd, Repub pollster Frank Luntz.

But back to the Rudy event.



A College student asked a health care question and by the end of Rudy's answer, he made it about 9-11, the Rudys sentences were disjointed and convoluted. Basically what one would expect from a batshit crazy Mofo. ANyway, we took some pics, and left early, The crown was thin, about 80 people in a room that could hold 150, and the was only one TV camera.

So my friends and I are walking back to the truck, and my pal Barry, Du'er "The Wizard" picks a flyer off a cars windshield. Barry says out loud, "holy shit, the negro problem", is this the Klan ?



I was walking ahead of Barry, and saw a flyer on the next car, so I grabbed it. OMG, he was right.

Now I need to tell you all a story, In 1963, my Dad was writing a math book (Dad is a PHd'ed college professor). My Dad had taken an advance and now the publisher was wanting its book. So My Mom and I went down to New Orleans for the summer, while Dad finished the book. In NOLA my Mom bought a little 125cc Vepsa motor scooter. Long story short, end of summer we drive back to Long Island NY. In Georgia, stopping for lunch at a small but busy Luncheonette, we ended up walking in the wrong side. The Black side. This was the era of separate but equal. I'll never forget it.

These fuckers are batshit crazy, its 2007, not 1963, its New Hampshire, not the deep south. But never the less the Klan and its minions are alive and well. And dropping lit on windshields in New Hampshire.

Until I see some evidence, though, I don't think we know who did it.

Personally I think it's fake and part of a dirty tricks campaign or something, because the full name of the candidate doesn't even appear on the brochure; how are people supposed to know who to write in? It compares voting for a pro-choice candidate to voting for a pro-slavery candidate. You've omitted the panels where this is revealed.
