Assuming whacko McCain got the GOP nomination... what's your opinion?
Who could beat him most easily? Hillary Clinton? John Edwards? Barack Obama?

6. I agree. And that's saying A LOT.
That said, if he had to have one of them (the Repubs) as our president, I'd pick him. And it's not even close.

13. Exactly the way I see it.
My only worry is Clinton getting it after getting nasty to do so. That would hurt her a great deal in the general -- which of course, hurts us.

5. All Of The Above
Easily. McCain is a has been and I can't believe he's healthy enough to campaign vigorously enough to win.

8. Obama would win far easier against any repuke than Hillary would, IMO...
I think she'd win against any repuke, but if Obama got the nom, I think he'd do it easier and with far more votes. I'm a Hillary supporter and I recognize that she is a polarizing figure even though I believe it's unjustified.

10. He wants to stay in Iraq 1000 years....he wants to "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb , BombIran"
The markets are doing great in Bagdhad. Iraq is the #1 issue for the American voter and he wants to give us more of the same.

I hope he does get the Republican nomination. Snoozer.

11. Anyone. All they have to do is run footage of people
drowning in Katrina while he and Bush shared birthday cake. How detached and out of touch do you have to be not to tell the President that he needs to cut his vacation short and do his job in the face of disaster? Instead they both ate cake.

12. McCain appeals to the independents and undicideds
But at any rate I think the Repukes are in for a house sweeping that will be unprecedented in the history of our country. The GOP will pay dearly for the 8 years of mindless fucking up they have made us endure!

We are heading for a very severe recession and all the nut cases on the GOP side can only argue among them selves about tax cuts to the rich. Well, I'm middle class and I say WTF do I are about a tax cut if I can't find a good job because they all wen over seas!

The repukes are so out of touch with reality that I really think they are going to be run out of town on a rail come 11/4/08!

14. I'm almost afraid to say this, but I wonder if he will actually make it
to the election in November. I realize 71 isn't THAT OLD, but the man has had several bouts with serious cancer, and sometimes when I've seen shots of him on the campaign trail, he looks sooo very old and tired. If he gets the nomination, people better pay very close attention to who he choses as his VP!

20. Not to mention the presidency
turns young men (like Bill Clinton) into old men in 8 yrs. Even * who has coasted through his presidency looks immeasurably worse than on day one. I doubt somebody who will be 72 when inaugarated could stand up to the pressure and exhaustion of even 2 yrs in the job. Therefore, look very carefully at who they pick for Veep...that may be the person that the Powers That Be *really* want in the number one job. Scenario? John McCain wins and steps down within two years 'for health reasons.' Huckabee or Romney or Guiliani gets to be president the easy way.

17. He's the hardest one to beat
I think McCain is the hardest GOP'er to beat in the GE. That being said, I think any of the top three Dems will beat him. Edwards would probably have the best chance to beat him.

McDrain is married to her. She would take down all the W.H. mirrors on a cheat.
