Guys...Guys....Hilliary & Obama are the SAME thing!

Hilliary's health plan is actually a little more progressive.

3. Absolutely correct. They are The Money Machine covering its bets on both ends
of the main issue spectrum: Hillary/IWR yes = pro-War voters and Obama = anti-this-War voters.

5. I consider them quite similar.
Hillary has more experience, and by virtue the corporations have deeper hooks into her.

Obama is fresher with less experience, hence not as much time to be warped by the system. Although he is entirely naive enough to catch up in this regard quite quickly if he wins.

Neither one will make the necessary stand against the real enemy, rampant corporate power and influence.

11. Yes, there isn't much significant difference between them.
And neither one of them will do very much to bring the kind of fundamental change America needs, despite their rhetoric. Both are big-money establishment candidates with deep corporate ties.

Even so, if one of them is the nominee, I will vote for them. I won't be overly excited about it and I won't expect much, but it's certainly better than ending up with a Republican.

16. About her health plan
If people would actually go read it at her website, I think you would see
that it really is the best one. The really poor will still get basically free
insurance, and the working poor will get very cheap insurance. Where it is really
good is that small business will be subsidized to a point that it can be
a feasible option. Also for a really tiny business it will not be mandatory.
By tiny I mean like the little old lady who sells soap and trinkets at the craftfair.

And the best part is the uninsured ( or anyone for that matter) can opt for the "government insurance" which is going to be the launching pad, in MY OPINION, for true universal
heath care. It's the slippery slope that so many on the right are afraid of.... but don't tell
anyone, OK? LOL

17. Actually the best one would be no insurance and getting the parasites out of our healthcare
It seems to work for the rest of the world.

Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 09:38 AM by YOY
They will go away one day. We will smarten up and all the money they have won't save them. If you can't export it and it's not a government service it's a parasite industry.

22. Yep!
They've both raised insane amounts of money from corporate donors - and Big Money doesn't support progressive candidates. Look at Kucinich. I don't how the Hillary=corpratist, Obama=populist meme got started, but IMO it has little basis in reality.
