14. As does this one...I got my first chill this political season!

His "concession" speech will likely be far more powerful and inspiring than Hillary's victory speech IMO.

But in fairness, it trumped the speech given by Edwards too.

6. yep.
Someone on DU made a comment that when Bill Clinton was attacking Obama, he was actually facing Bill Clinton of 92. Tonight, Obama DID sound like that sort of positive, assured candidate.

13. As an Edwards supporter I was disgusted by how many of Johns phrases he stole!
And he lost me immediately with the we learned we can disagree without being disagreeable. And his talk of uniting Republicans and Democrats.Ain't gonna happen.Ever.I no longer want it too. He'll extend his arm across the aile and get it bitten off.Obama is as politically expedient as Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.He is not the candidate of change. He is the candidate of appeasement.

18. I loved the speech but I have to admit
I started CRACKING UP when I saw this line: "He'll extend his arm across the aile and get it bitten off."

I may have to use that elsewhere for the comedic value alone. Did you come up with that?

Also, I kept thinking, "Geez, he's a 1940s movie cliche." I'm hoping America wake up and become a bit more reality based than what is happening with Obama fever.

looking at the right hand while the left hand is the one you should be watching.

I think it's aptly called misdirection. Apparently a lot of people tonight happened to catch the left hand.

30. Yes. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery
The fact that the two media-anointed front-runners are publicly blasting the oil companies and the insurance companies and the pharmaceutical companies (assuming they actually mean it, of course) is a victory in some respects.

Thank you Dennis Kucinich and John Edwards for tenaciously tugging the Democratic Party back to its Democratic wing.

Oh, by the way, did I mention that I favor change and that this is very personal to me?
