Does anyone have the total turnout for each primary?

1. I think you have hit on a very impotant topic
We need to see how the undecideds and the independents are voting out there. Chance are the Democrats will take the white house in November but nothing is etched in stone and the independents will be very crucial this year.

2. I don't think they'll have that data.

If you are an unenrolled voter, you have to enroll to vote in the primary. Those voters would just be listed as "new voters." The trick for those people is they have to remember to unenroll before the next primary or they get stuck in one party. That's what happened in 2004. All those people enrolled in the GOP to vote for McCain in 2000 and forgot to switch back, so Bush only got 80% in an uncontested GOP primary :P

The exit polls from MSNBC show Democrats went for Hillary 45-34 and unenrolleds went for Obama (haven't heard the numbers though).

4. With 91% reporting:
Hillary has scored 102000 and McCain 81000

with 44% independent, The totals are looking really good for Democrats (almost 1/3 more voters in the Dem primary than the Repugs)
