What a coincidence Obama and Clinton both won one...
But of course, Clinton didn't blow it out enough to make Obama look irrelevant...Now it keeps them both front and center in the corporate media while they can now dismiss John Edwards even more. I am beginning to wonder just what is really planned in this political show. If Clinton had finished third again John Edwards would have to have been given more media attention. However, with Obama winning one and now Clinton guess who the media can continue to concentrate on while continuing to diminish John Edwards? Who counted the ballots anyway? Because from where I'm sitting John Edwards is resonating with a hell of a lot more people than who voted for him in NH yesterday. A shame I have to be so cynical, but when you look at the huge machine we are up against I don't put anything past anyone regardless of party. It just looks so "coincidental" that just when Hillary Clinton was ready to be pushed to the irrelevant category she "comes back." And all I can say to some candidate's supporters is that if all you need to vote for someone is a slick delivery and a speech about "yes we can" or some tears when the Congress Obama and Clinton are both sitting in now has DONE NOTHING TO STOP BUSH for all of their "wanting change", then you need to rethink just what it is you really believe in.

1. Edwards doesn't resonate in NH
and all indications are that he doesn't resonate here in Vermont much, either. Why is that? If not the most progressive state in the country, we're close. Populist messages obviously work here: Bernie is a Senator. Perhaps it's that I'm hardly the only Vermonter who's suspicious of Edwards' sincerity. Perhaps it's that he's a southerner. I don't know, but watching the results last night with a group of very liberal/progressive Vermonters last night, only one of supports Edwards. I suspect he won't do at all well in the rest of NE when it comes time to us to vote. In fact, by the time Super Tuesday rolls around and MA and CT vote, I think you'll see results for Edwards even lower than what he got in NH.

But why should I be surprised after the last eight years?
