Is it to get the little bit of positive press that goes with "winning" uncontested albeit meaningless primaries there?

The asymnetry of this troubles me.

1. Kucinich is on the Michigan ballot
and is going there to campaign. I hope that he has a big turnout, which could happen if Obama and Edwards supporters decide to send a message.

3. The Party "Pundits" are urging folks to vote Uncommitted.
That, of course, is a proxy for Party Management ... all corporations like that.

2. Well hey
there's that skilled politician thing again - getting free good publicity. I mean we would prefer our nominee to be someone who is too idealistic to secure advantage, right?

It's things like this that make Hillary as high on my list as she is (not at the top) - if she didn't have that kind of skill I'd put Obama above her solidly - he is far more charismatic and "likeable". But give me a non-charismatic person who can win any day.

4. She's thinking they might seat the delegates
About Michigan, she said voters might feel insulted if Dems all abandoned them and therefore would vote Rep in the GE. So it's all about party loyalty (sarcasm).

5. I'm curious and waiting for someone to explain this whole thing for me. Aren't they all
supposed to remove their names? I'm confused and await an explanation and opinions as to the potential effect of this.

7. They can't get off FL ballot unless they drop out of the race.
So they are still on the ballot here.

6. They are all on the Florida ballot.
They are just not supposed to campaign here, and Florida's vote supposedly won't count during the primaries in determining the nominee.

8. She thinks she doesn't have to follow the rules that everyone else follows.
Does that sound more like Bush than like a Democrat?
