1. hey you - you're not supposed to bring up Iraq
the media told us that the surge was a smashing success... so, we're not allowed to talk about Iraq again until December.

3. But, but but
these are someone's loved ones. Can I please just start a thread which will sink faster than Fred Thompson's chances?

5. Depressing. And worse, we know it is going to go on and on as
long as Bush is in charge, as long as the MSM declares the surge a success, and as long as the Democratic Congress fails to cut off the funds.

7. Congress will never cut off the funds.

The Repug & Dem Leaders want to maintain the US Occupation.
They want to keep the Fiasco going to finalize that Oil Deal.. The Repugs & Dems are afraid that they will be blamed if they force the end of the US Occupation and Iraq goes down the tubes, the Oil goes to other countries, & Iran gains major control in the ME. That wouldn't be good for the '08 Election.

10. Shhhh... LOOK! There's a shiney thing!
We aren't supposed to care about those things. The people who died on 9-11 are much more important than a few people who died in an effert to gain a college education.

It's tragic and I'm afraid that we will live in tragic times until Bush gets out of office.

We aren't supposed to care about the Iraqis who are dying over there either.

Peace.

Please, god. Peace.
