Can we just start referring to the pundits as
Asshole T (or M, referring to Tweety), Asshole B, Asshole H, and so on?

There's a marked difference between the likes of Rachel Maddow; who has never put silly, manipulative spin on a candidate to my knowledge, and the likes of Asshole B (Pat Buchanan).

I'm willing to call those worthy of respect by their given first and lasts--but Asshole B will remain Asshole B forever in my mind.

1. How about 'paid political operatives of the ruling party'?
That way your audience doesn't have to get all aflutter about the use of the word 'asshole' and your meaning is clear.

2. PPOORPs.
Actually--it acronyms almost to "poor poops."

That really works and it's quick. I like it!

Of the various terms coined by DUer's, those top my list.

In our current crisis, Impeachophobics is a particularly apt and useful. Impeachment would be inescapable if they allowed themselves to confront the facts and moral imperatives of our current national crisis. http://journals.democraticunderground.com/pat_k/23 ">Impeachophobia pervades the establishment. It is driven by, and is driving, the denial, euphemism, and "opposite of reality" conventional "wisdom" blathered by talking heads, "professional" consultants, and so-called "analysts," "leaders," and "journalists."
