Judge won't inquire into CIA tapes case
AP NewsBreak: Judge Refuses to Investigate the Destruction of CIA Interrogation Videos

MATT APUZZO
AP News

Jan 09, 2008 17:16 EST

A federal judge refused on Wednesday to delve into the destruction of CIA interrogation videos, saying there was no evidence the Bush administration violated a court order and the Justice Department deserved time to conduct its own investigation.

The decision by U.S. District Judge Henry H. Kennedy was a victory for the Bush administration, which had urged the courts not to wade into a politically charged issue already being investigated by the Justice Department, CIA and Congress.

The CIA has acknowledged that in 2005 it destroyed videos of officers using tough interrogation methods while questioning two al-Qaida suspects. Lawyers for other terrorism suspects quickly asked Kennedy to hold hearings.

4. Just like Nazi Germany, the Bushification and Criminalization of those who "uphold" the law
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 06:19 PM by tom_paine
but in reality only uphold their Bushie/Nazi Pals' interests.

this is the age-old question of what to do about a tyrants who has already parasitized a system beyond the point of no-return.

They faced in against Hitler in the 30s, and against Caesar in the 50s BC. Numerous Hitler/Stalin/Bushie clones have used these now tried and tested methods, perfecting them over the years.

They only way to stop a Hitler, a Stalin, a Pinochet, or a Bush is to literally stop them by arrest or prison. And they have already parasitized the system whereby that is possible.

therefore, if they are not stopped, and cannot be stopped by a Law that now serves the Lawless, then everything they did was "legal".

This is about as surprising as any of the weak attempts to stop Hitler or Caesar by using the law which they disdained.

I think it is far too late for us, as just like in 1933 Germany, criminals now rule us, they now control the organs of the State and do not hesitate to use them for the benefit of their Masters. For them there is no law but to advance the cause of the Nazis or Bushies, Pinochet or Marcos, any dictator or tyrant, Left or Right, the template is the same.

Hitler and the Bushies both have used the same methodology, and it is the methodology of the AIDS virus: to break down the bodies' natural defenses whereby even the tiniest infection that would have been easily resisted pre-Bush, pre-Hitler, or pre-AIDS can now kill the patient.

This is no surprise. No surprise at all.

5. It was to be expected...
those Yemenis won't get out of Guantanamo until someone urges investigations of that entire facility, separate from the CIA tapes case, and I'd wager that that won't happen til the "War on Terror" has been exposed as a total fraud.

Doesn't seem too likely that any sitting judge is gonna risk his career by actually putting anyone in this administration up on the stand, does it?
