I just talked to Jim who owns the Yellow Rose bus - here is what he needs

In case you hadn't heard yet, the bus was burnt in a fire on Friday night. The cause of the fire is still unknown. Jim is working with the police and the ATF has been notified as well. He said he honestly doesn't know if it was an accident or arson. He had just pulled into a truck stop and was laying down to get some rest when he heard a noise and saw a fire coming from under the front of the bus.

He said he is fine, he is staying with friends and is safe and warm. But he is worried about the bus. The police towed it to a lot and he can't let it stay there. So he is looking for someone with some land in the Philly/Jersey area where he can park the bus for the time being. If you can help Jim out or know someone who can, please PM me so I can hook you up with Jim.

Jim also wanted me to tell everyone thanks who has already reached out to help him. He said peace activists are the best and he is really overwhelmed with the outpouring of support and well wishes from all over the country. He kept saying he is fine and he is more worried about the Yellow Rose and its safety than anything else.

Also please forward this around, especially to people in the Philly/Jersey area. Can someone post this on Kos and any other websites you can think of.

They're also secured, insured, and monitored.

Of course, that takes money.

If he can't find someone to donate a location, we could donate money for a spot.

If the bus still ran, he could park it in the lot of a Wal-Mart or Cracker Barrel (both right-wing asshole companies to otherwise avoid) but he'd have to move it every 24 hours.
