Poll question: When will the Libby jury return their verdicts??
They have five charges to consider and render a verdict. They could be deadlocked on any of them or they can deliver a unanimous verdcit on any or all.

What say you?

2. What's important about March 8? It's not the kind of case that
would seem to require sifting through mounds of evidence...

4. Well, I think it will be a hung jury...
and the judge will try an scare them to make a decision over that time.

I am not a lawyer -- but my guess is the jury is preparing for that: by going thru the motions of appearing -- to be looking at the facts and laws (asking to sharpen all their dull pencils, and asking for plenty of paper clips, etc.) - so as to minimize the judges wrath, when he finds out they are a hung jury.

11. Interesting.... hung jury. Hard to believe with the lack of testimony
from Libby that there'd be much to ponder. I've been more worried about "jury tampering" and the longer they deliberate the more time there is for that.

14. I agree on the Jury tampering...
Those CIA spooks... can tamper with a jurors mind without them even knowing it. Some of the spooks - the spy agencies used during World War II, were not paid professional spies: but rather brainwashed by the intelligence agency spooks, and they turned out to be the best War spies they ever had, and they never even knew they were a spy.

3. Whatever the verdict, I hope they wait until next week.
I'll be busy the next few days and I won't be able to pay attention to the news. :)

6. My bet
is that you won't be able to NOT pay attention to it. Your friend Patrick will be speaking on the courthouse steps. Are you really trying to tell us you'd be too dang busy for that?

9. Do you think that's when we'll find out who "Sealed v. Sealed" is?
It'd be interesting, to say the least.

13. I've never had
any opinion on the "sealed v sealed" issue. It may be something related to this case, or it may not.

One interesting thing to consider, which never really had any follow-up, can be found on the 1-29 non-official transcript from FireDogLake. Ari Fleischer was being cross-examined. If we read the section from between 3:31 and 3:38, we read, " J Transcript of roundtable interview. Asks if Fleischer was indicted for perjury."

I found that curious.

15. H2O Man....hahaha, I guess I'll drop whatever I'm doing for sure!
But I will be busy starting tomorrow through the weekend. I will have to check the internet on my cell for breaking news. Can't wait for the courthouse question and answer session. I hope it's not one of his quickies, he should at least allow a few questions.

7. Moments before Bush issues his pardons
"Uh oh, the plane's having trouble. Think we'll make it?"

"Heck yeah. We should have no problem making it all the way to the ground. I'll bet we even beat the paramedics by a good 20 minutes."

This is how I see it... I'm very much like my Mom..

when she comes up from GA to NY, she brings the lousy weather (of course, we are teasing her, but it's a darn coincidence)..

Me? Libby's indictment, I was away for three hours when it came out.. I missed it..

Libby's trial? I was away for three hours during Fitz' closing... I missed it..

Today? I'll be gone from 2pm to 5pm... that's right, three hours... My guess is I'll miss it.
