Could Ed Schultz be any further up Hillary's arse?
The "liberal" Rush-wannabe, Ed Schultz, is complaining up a storm about the Geffen comments against his candidate Hillary. It's official now...Schultz is a DLC/Corporate Media hack. He serves no purpose for real change in America.

5. He is the voice of the establishment
The fact that he drapes himself in the good old boy, heartland crap doesn't change the fact that he's an establishment tool.

He's meant to "fix" the Democratic elite's image problem with red-staters.

A different tool for every job for the DLC.

7. He did the same thing with Lieberman
Personally I can't stand him. I know some DU'ers like him but to me everything he does is based on opinion, he argues against right-wing opinions without ever checking the facts. Frankly he should be embarrassed when he spends a couple days defending a Democrat against allegations that aren't even true. He really is just like the right wing heads. Make up a story stick to it and avoid the facts at all costs. Randi may be abrasive sometimes but she does her research.

8. I like Hillary, I don't like Schultz. It's not even that I disagree with his basic bent
I just don't trust him. I don't like the way he approaches subjects, the way he analyzes them, the way he talks about people.

Yesterday I turned on my Air America affiliate who used to replace Randi Rhodes with Ed during the afternoon, and Randi was on. Happy dance time! I don't agree with Randi any more often than I agree with Ed, but i trust her more.

For the record, I heard Schultz tearing into Hillary a few weeks ago. She made a comment that if she had been president she wouldn't have invaded Iraq. This is completely in line with her speech before the IWR and with every speech I've heard her make, but Ed accused her of flip-flopping and everything else. So it isn't that he loves Hillary. I don't know, maybe he hates Obama. Or just Geffen. Or maybe, he's just annoying.

11. Here we go again..

The daily bash Ed Schultz thread. Just because he sounds like Rush does not make him Rush. IIRC, Big Eddie was commenting on Geffen's comments and the responses by both Clinton and Obama.

12. No dice. Schultz was adamant in blaming Obama for Geffen's comments. He's a SYNCOPHANT for the DLC
Turn on your radio. His comments speak for themselves. He's a Hillary shill...plain and simple.

14. Schultz is so into fucking gossip, he's a joke, he thrashes liberal talk radio
stations and personalities, he's taking all the administration talking points towards Iran as his own, Schultz simply repeats the Bush administrations bullshit and the corporate media's Iran mantra, of let's keep the wars for profit rolling...He trashes each Dem candidate, one at a time, but always keeps a person with no chance of winning like Dodd to say see I never trashed Dodd as he trashes every other liberal in media and in politics.

We know Schultz is in it for the money and "was" a conservative republican...who's agenda is he working for?

15. The people who own his show and his producer
are all conservatives. I think maybe his problem is that he thought the same lame "no facts" tactics would work on progressives as easily as it worked on conservatives. Conservatives are too freakin lazy to bother to check the facts, and so is Ed..

"same lame "no facts" tactics would work on progressives as easily as it worked on conservatives." I agree.

Do you know who these people are "who own his show and his producer" ?

It should would explain so much of why he always slips in republican talking points on certain issues (like Iran) and then hides it all by talking to Dem politician as if that makes him a legitimate liberal or democrat.

He's a phony as I've always suspected...one just has to listen carefully to his show to be aware of that and his background is reeks of conservatism.

Moderates love the guy...because they have no ideology of their own and are one step from being sheep, which ever way the wind blows!!

19. Let me see if I can find the link, it was a few days ago
that I saw it. His producer was commenting on the AAR rants Ed was doing and proudly mentioned that he(the producer) was a conservative.

22. Well I din't find the same article but try this:
http://ltradio.blogspot.com/search/label/Ed%20Schultz

Scroll down to the third story called: "Can't we all just get along" There is a letter there from Ed's producer. Read it. They obviously think their shit doesn't stink. You could substitute Rush's name for Ed's in the letter and you wouldn't think it was out of place.

3. Ed is not paid by the Democratic Party. The owners of the show, Randy Michaels & Stu Krane are both Libertarian Republicans.

21. Exactly, in his AAR rant the other day
He claimed that Mike Malloy isn't on the air any more even though he and his listeners know that's not true. It screamed Limbaugh-esque.
