not that there's really any difference between traditional print sources and purely online sources. There is no monolithic media presence, but a continuum of sources and options--and it's our duty to read a vast number of sources in order to come to an informed opinion. And this doesn't mean reading both Perez Hilton *and* TMZ (although I do read Perez Hilton and TMZ). I read the NY Times in print every day. I read CNN, the BBC, the CBC, and Faux online. I read USA Today a couple of times a week. I read the local daily a couple of times a week. I watch ABC news, CNBC and HNN. I occasionally step out a bit and read Al J and Granma and some of the other more alternative sources, and once a month or so, I'll read a socialist paper. I also actively participate in an online news commentary community--a really violently aggressive and spiteful one that is nevertheless quite fun.

Anyhow, the point is that there isn't an MSM anymore. News is a fragmented experience.

I guess I spend about 2 hours a day reading the news.
