Greenpeace chases Japanese whaling fleet from hunting grounds
Following a 10-day search in Antarctic waters, the Greenpeace ship Esperanza confronted Japan’s whaling fleet in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary and immediately engaged in a high speed chase over hundreds of miles through fog and increasingly rough seas. The factory ship Nisshin Maru has now been driven out of the hunting grounds and all whaling has stopped -- for now.

3. I'd rather Greenpeace focus on the wholesale destruction of the
bluefin, big eye, and yellowfin tuna fisheries in the Atlantic and Mediterranean. Those fisheries are on the verge of complete collapse due to inadequate international management or enforcement and heavy-handed fishing practices.

4. For an organization...
For an organization with limited funds and personnel, who are forced to deal with myriads of impending ecological disasters, and who feel morally compelled to take on organizations with (relatively) unlimited funds and personnel, I can only tip my cap to them and hope they keep up the good fight...
