ROFL! Wingnut radio guy Lars Larson calling Thom Hartmann a military deserter!
Edited on Thu Feb-22-07 06:12 PM by Fighting Irish
This is just too damn funny!

FYI: Lars Larson is a wingnut Rush clone who does the usual RW shuck n' jive. And just the other day, this asshat wrote this, referring to a newspaper profile on Hartmann:

The February 19 Portland Oregonian newspaper (aka, The Daily Fish Wrapper) ran a glowing piece about Franken’s replacement this week. It quotes the Viet Nam era college student saying, "I realized Lyndon Johnson wanted to kill me," and then went on to say:

"...Hartmann joined the Air Force, thinking he could work as an engineer, thus avoiding dangerous duty. Quickly realizing he was wrong, Hartmann managed to flunk an end-of-basic training physical, earning a quick ticket back to civilian life. Back at Michigan State, Hartmann spun records and read the news on a local radio station."

He accuses Hartmann of lying his way out of the Air Force, and claims that he's subject to court martial. And that because of his stance against the Vietnam war, is not qualified to attack Bush or the Iraq war.

Ironically, in searching the web and his site biography, I don't recall seeing anything regarding Larson's military service. Granted, he's too young for Vietnam (born in 1959), but his gun-lovin' ass could have enlisted at any time.

Also, I couldn't find anything regarding his opinion of Rush Limbaugh's anal cyst that kept him out of the draft.

All in all, this guy sounds absolutely batshit! Anyone ever listen to this asshat on the radio?

1. I believe that Thom Hartmann was too young for the draft...
or at least it was winding down as he came of age....

TH is such a gentleman, it will be interesting to see how he handles this...

2. He was of draft age
Born in 1951. Also joined the Air Force.

Regardless, more power to him! And he didn't even need to complain about a sore ass like Limbaugh did.

4. If he was born in 1951 (same as myself), then he was draft age!
