They seemed really comfy in the beginning but seem to be getting more and more defensive. Don't get me wrong, I'll vote for any of them should they win the nomination. Just an observation.

30. HRC shouldn't want him out of the way.
He's the only thing standing between BO and the nomination.

31. Obama certainly doesn't. It would spell disaster for him
in SC if JE drops out. Most of the white support that JE has would go to Hillary. Logic works better than "feelings".

5. They're both trying to keep Edwards from getting away with any good points.
So, yeah, they seem worried.

7. Edwards is in "tell the truth mode."
Edited on Tue Jan-15-08 10:35 PM by AndyA
And Clinton and Obama can't handle it.

He's flat out telling it like it is, even if by doing so he isn't shining the best light on himself.

Yes, he's made mistakes. And he's going to fix them when he gets in the White House.

How refreshing: hearing the truth.

27. I'm so glad I came here tonight, I said that to my husband. It seemed to me
they would let Hillary and Obama rebut more often, too. Maybe it was because he was bringing up points that had to be rebutted and they didn't? I'm so glad he's staying in, even if it's to make sure nothing gets closed over or buried.

...this is A THREE-WAY RACE and that they may NOT be able to just coast along on the Media's blackout of Edwards.

22. I do think he brings a very important voice to the debate, and I rather enjoy that he's held
both of the other candidates feet to the fire. It's good for them, and so, good for all of us.

Edwards just lays it out there, and that's scary for corporate politicians to deal with.

21. I Have To Disagree With You There.
Personally, I my view of the debates tonight was that Hillary was by far the strongest and the one putting herself out there as the one to beat, and I found Edwards to be actually be ineffective in his presence. I like John a lot, but I think he was totally outshined tonight.

Where is he? Is he still on the stage? Or are they just not showing him.

29. I noticed that they would sort of jump on John's bandwagon at times.
The question would be asked and they gave their answers. But once they heard John's they had to come back with a "me too"-like reply.

32. I sensed the same thing and I'm not an Edwards supporter
They might have both been angry at Edwards for throwing gasoline on the racial flare up. I know I am. They'd probably both like him to be out.
