edit to add: Plus he specifically said that we needed to get off our dependence on oil and go more green and that nuclear plants was not the ONLY alternative. There are other venues to explore before going straight to nuclear.

for the last 50some years, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now.
Oil, nuclear and coal power are relics of the past. Oil is a finite product. Coal is destructive to the earth and a huge pollutant. Nuclear has the very real problem of what to do with the toxic waste. The problem is they're big funders of political campaigns and pols. It's about time someone says no to their money and looks out for the rest of us.
9. Edwards mentioned research on ethanol from cellulose that is going on right now...
Edwards is the most knowledgeable candidate on the environment and energy in the race. His plan is the most foreward thinking and well thought out plan any candidate has put out.
