2. It was very good. I thought all three did well and all three brought up great points that
need to be talked about.

We made the Republicans look, . . . like the asshats they are.

6. Ditto that
The Dems have an embarrassment of riches. The Repugs just have... embarrassments.

4. There is absolutely no comparison
Edited on Tue Jan-15-08 11:09 PM by ocelot
between those three smart, competent people and the Repub candidates, that collection of pasty, withered old white guys with the brains of gerbils and the mental stability of Jeffrey Dahmer.

10. This is the debate I've been waiting for.
Issues! I love it. More substance and nuance than any of the previous debates. I'm happy to say I am still undecided and thrilled with the choice I have to make.

12. I for one, am totally ashamed that they all didn't walk out on it
This debate was an act of cowardly submission to media dictatorship.

The Repubs at least expressed solidarity with their candidate that was the least favorite of their leadership and cancelled their sponsorship of the Fox debate. The party's gutlessness is likely to lead to the election being close enough to steal one more time.

Or have we all forgotten the flip-flopper Kerry who wasn't really a war hero, Cleland who got medals for being stupid enough to blow himself up, "stiff" Al "inventing" the Internet, etc.?

13. I thought HRC asking Obama to co-sponsor legislation with her was brilliant
Not an HRC fan, but Obama was left muttering about that one.

14. They agreed on the most important thing--the blame falls squarely on GWB.
The best so far (sincere apologies to the DK supporter, though).
