Let the candidates ask their own damn questions!
When Edwards asked Obama his direct question, I saw within that engagement true sparks and a genuine reflection of personalities.

Too bad the M$M decided they were too generous with the question rule and nobody got to really go there again for the rest of the debate.

What will it take for an honest one on one dialog where the candidates can talk, much like we do here on DU, unmoderated or controlled by the corporate M$M?!

I'm so fucking sick of the M$M controlling the agenda on these debates - what will it take to set the candidates free from it?

Can they be hosted on public TV and with an open format that allows each of them to ask questions of each other? Thats what I want to see and hear!

Hold their own debates? That would scare off front runners, because they remember Nixon flopping. Therefore, it seems to boil down to front runners playing along, to the detriment of democracy.
