Can what?

6. "Si se puedes"; check the links to UFW upthread. It's a sign of solidarity with unions generally...
...and Latino workers specifically. When our California Latinos came out to march in such great numbers last year, they were chanting "Si se puedes!" -- "Yes, we can!"

I was startled to hear Obama using it as the tagline to his speech (in Iowa or New Hampshire -- I'm definitely losing track) and supporters chanting "Yes we can", because I felt it was a call-out to the Latino-American voters ahead on the campaign trail. It was a good speech, too.
