1. sure, i can "visualize it"
Edited on Wed Jan-16-08 04:31 AM by orleans
they'll be talking about how concerned people are for hillary, how the comeback girl has to come back to new york, and how much she has learned from her experience running as president.

the media will talk about barack--that this will not be his final bid for the presidency, that he remains illinois darling junior senator, and that he had learned a great deal from his experience running as president.

the president will have the new name of "the president" and photo ops in the rose garden will have cameras focused on the fucking roses

any new bill "the president" signs into law will have news coverage of clinton & obama's vote for or against the bill and why they voted the way they did. the coverage will be complete with soundbites of clinton & obama, along with three minute interviews.

privately msnbc will wonder where it went wrong, how it failed to keep "him" from the presidency. they will have a lot of regret but won't beat themselves up over it because after all, they did totally marginalize him as much as possible even before thay cut that little guy--oh, what was his name--kook something--out of the picture and the nevada debate back in january of 08.

sorry john--i guess this must be a real fantasy killer for you. nothing personal. just bitter as all fucking get-out.

4. Then this link is for you, Orleans
I know you're bitter and have every right to be, as are many here, but it's not going to get us anywhere. This defeatist attitude will kill our democracy for certain.

Even if you think it's useless, please do something proactive. This link is one such thing:

2. The MSM are owned by the very global assholes that Edwards fought all his life...
There is no choice but to use the net to get the truth out (I'm a Kucinich guy).

3. I'm not convinced he will have good labor relations
as his track record on the right-to-work (for less) laws, especially in his home state of NC, has been less than stellar if not actually supporting them.

5. I'm with you, BigBearJohn...
posting nonstop of late about focusing on grassroots efforts rather than playing the same game (MSM) that everyone here, rightfully, bitches about. Getting slammed left and right as I do. lol

But, like you said, Howard Dean did it, as did Ron Paul (!). Even people who don't follow politics know about Ron Paul (even if they don't know his entire message...the grassroots effort GOT HIS NAME OUT THERE).

I'm hoping Symbolman's efforts will start to pay off as well. We need a JRE youtube revolution!!!

The Friday donation drive will hopefully be very successful after last night's debate and any coverage.

Maybe if JRE is going to appear on any TV shows this week, he can mention the Friday drive just like Ron Paul always mentioned his when he was a guest.
