He'll bring "Mr. Independent" on the ticket and point to that as showing he can "unite the country" and as a pull at independent voters. It's hard to see the appeal of two of the biggest hawks on Iraq in the US Senate, but if I had to bet if he's nominated I think it will be a McCain/LIEberman ticket.

1. JEB
I'm still predicting Jeb Bush is going to be the Republican VP, regardless of the nominee.

5. Yep. Liebermann has been working his ugly rotten little ass off
to cut the legs out from under the Democrats. He's in it for something.

8. Ditto!
If McCain wants to win he will have to choose Newt as his VP.

10. McCain, if he survives the primary war and becomes the GOP nom, will choose
Tim Pawlenty as his veep nom in Minneapolis.

Home-state guy, "moderate" by GOP standards, just the sort of sidekick the McCain team needs, since McCain himself is more or less a walking corpse.

And it makes a purply-blue state more competitive.

13. No. By turning his coat, Lieberman has proven he's untrustworthy forevermore.
He's nothing but a useful fool for the Republicans.

17. I could see those two jackals together on a ticket..
I don't think McCain will get it though, he's going to run up against the Rove Smear Machine yet again. It will come soon. Mittsy is the chosen one, and I think he'll pick Hucky as his running mate as a carrot to the fundies to come out and vote.

20. Joe is in it for one person and thats Joe
So you gotta believe that since he's been palling around McCain so much he's probably been promised something. My guess its the VP slot if McCain gets the GOP nom.

all the sore/loserman people campaigning for joe

But I don't think it would happen. It would be a disaster for the GOP.

23. Nope don't see it
McCain will put him in as secretary of defense but not on the ticket. Most likely because he is probably going to have to promise the VP to some else just to get the delegates he needs to win the nomination.
