1. She is right about needing solutions

for the immediate, short and long terms to solve economic/energy issues.

2. Yeah, but no matter who wins, any solutions proposed today

may be wholly inadequate by next January. The economic situation will have changed by then (just as it has since January 2007). None of their current solutions will be given a chance in current DC politics (if for no other reason than Bush won't sign just to be petulant).

So, while I appreciate the economic stimulus packages that each is proposing, the specifics are not important other than as a guide for how the candidate might react to some future economic crises, not as something that is going to be done today or even in the next few months.
