Just woke up cranky after a dream about Hillary and Wes...
Let me explain - Over the many years I often have had dreams occupied by political people. Usually they are very entertaining such as Jerry Ford at a family barbecue in a striped shirt and madras shorts, me necking with Morris Udall in a Cadillac, Janet Reno getting "tiddles" (as she put it) and passing out on my couch - just a sampler of some that have had me laughing as I awoke.

But last night -- Hillary was barreling toward the nomination and Wes was deferring to her constantly, perhaps in hopes of a VP nod. Anyway, he was acting ga-ga over her and even gave her some sort of a military "sweetheart" pin with aquamarines to symbolize his devotion.

I woke up infuriated - number one because I don't want her as the nominee - but number two and most impoortant - dammit Hillary, Wes is MINE.

4. I had that same dream. Hillary had just received the nomination a the
Democratic convention and was making her speech choosing Wes Clark as her running mate. I could hear her speaking of Clark in glowing terms, it was a quite convincing dream. I woke up before I found out if Clark accepted the nomination, though. I would much prefer a ticket with Clark at the top and maybe Hillary as VP.

5. Clark would be anyone's good choice

having been part of his 04 draft and campaign. He also is a counter to any notion any dems may want to have concerning foreign policy that mimics in any way neoconservatism.

6. I supported Clark in 04 until he dropped out of the race. I
sure hope he runs again. I know we have a good crop of candidates this time but I think Clark would top them all.

8. Yep.
My son keeps asking me about him and wants to be a part of any effort. Guess he follows in my footsteps (wanting to volunteer for candidates).
