Glenn Beck: FDR Was "One Evil Son Of A B***h"
Maybe he's back on drugs. Or maybe he's just an asshole. - OP's comment

from HuffPost:

Glenn Beck: FDR Was "One Evil Son Of A B***h"
Huffington Post | January 16, 2008 02:29 PM

Last night on his show, Glenn Beck — still riled up over his ass surgery gone awry — unleashed his anger on our 32nd president. Hosting the Wall Street Journal's Stephen Moore, Beck went on a rant about Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who he called "one evil son of a bitch." According to Beck, FDR's misdeeds include nationalizing "health care, energy, and everything else" and making the depression "go on and on and on for a decade."

11. No. Glenn Beck does not exist anymore
He went in to have his hemorrhoids removed a few weeks back. But due to a freak turn of events they removed Glenn Beck and left the hemorrhoid. You only thought you heard him bemoan the state of health care when in actuality those words were spilling out from a rotten asshole.

14. I thought he'd been complaining about not getting any oxygen
Apparently, the lack of oxygen took out his last two or three working brain cells. I'm sure that the rantings of this intellectual and moral pygmy are making a colossal difference to FDR.

And he actually worked there and ran it ... because he was evil.

6. Evil? He saved the USA twice
Once from the Repuke-induced Great Depression and again from defeat in World War II. I guess that qualifies as evil in some circles, but not in mine.

15. Beck is a glaring example that the money driven media
Edited on Sun Jan-20-08 12:19 AM by Gman
will forsake any kind of dignity in journalism and go so far as to pander to the lunatic right with another lunatic just to get advertising dollars. They don't care that Beck is a lunatic. They only care that he gets ratings and that the other lunatics that watch and listen to Beck have money that they can be had.

19. They live in a fantasy world because that's the only place where their "conservatism" WORKS...
If they ever peered into the REAL world, they'd quickly find out that EVERYTHING they believe in is a BIG, FAT, LIE.

Liar, liar, pants on fire.

It's all bullshit. All of it. It's a religion whose church is built around the alter of lower taxes for the wealthy.

That's it.

Everything is secondary. Everything is an adjunct. Nothing is as important. Nothing in their little world will be allowed to even INCIDENTALLY raise taxes on the rich - that's why I know it's a big fat CONSPIRACY. A decentralized conspiracy financed the wealthy to get away with as much financial gain as possible before WE THE PEOPLE can put an end to it until the next time...

Human excrement like Glenn Beck are the Hans Christian Andersens of this fantasy world, broadcasting their fairy tales over the air 24/5 catering to all the little dicked men driving their Humvees thinking that somehow they're getting ahead while they're overpriced houses are dropping in value and their 401k's have lost 20% of their value this year alone and they cower in their McMansions with their glocks and worry about the day the darkies will come to get THEIRS...

I hate them. I hate them because I could have *easily* BEEN one of them. The only ticket is HATRED. Share the hatred. But then like so many fictional characters, I took the blue pill, ate the cookie, whatever - I realized that this whole game is a big lie and the man behind the curtain is... GLENN BECK. And like the Wizard of Oz - he's a powerless fool who's nice enough on the outside, but when you stop and think about it, he gets his kicks scaring little girls and dogs so that they'll do impossible tasks in order to get something in return that was theirs to begin with.

There's no place like home.

25. critics have noted this in Ayn Rand: her "America" is in a parallel world, so many
classify it as science fiction rather than more-mainstream literary fiction--though it's controversial whether it's really "writing" at all...
besides being populated solely by chubby Communists, Aryanesque plutocrats, and faceless, formless proles, the United States of Randroidia is totally economically isolated (from a world that's all Commie and thus diseased, starving, and presumed darker-skinned) and its Transcontinental Railway was unwanted by all--except the heroine's ancestor and his stockholders. Not a single real person is mentioned in her galloping monstrosities.
At least a real-life sensory-deprivation chamber lets you experience things different from the usual--and you won't come out sobbing that Bob Murray has to deal with gub'mint regulators in his capital-hallowed mines.

24. We could use a few more "evil sons of bitches"...
Let's see...Harding gave the Robber Barons free reign; Coolidge helped set the stage for the Great Depression; Hoover got stuck w/the mistakes of his predecesors and was sitting in the WH when the country, and the whole world tanked.

FDR...while picking up the pieces he was handed, gave us the FDIC, the TVA, helped to jump start the Recovery by various infrastructure programs, helped to ensure that the retired would not be living in abject poverty, gave us a farm act that put farmers back in business and above all, gave hope to the nation when there was only despair. He was the Commander in Chief during one of the world's most horrendous and devasting wars and fortunately, had a phenominal Chief of Staff, George Marshall, who would usher in a post-war program that would save Europe and Japan. FDR gave us much more, things that helped this nation, not hindered it.

Beck's little Love Bunny, bush...helped get tax cuts for the exceptionally wealthy, started a war without end...and shredded the Constitution. Nice match-up there...:eyes:

29. Beck and Moore talking evil? In other people?
Moore's the creepiest panelist in Real Time history (a major accomplishment) and a Nordquist disciple, and Beck's a barking fool who'd say his father was a canniballistic serial killer if it would get him ratings or attention.

Of course they botched your surgery Glenn, the doctors are probably still discussing you. Not everyone has vocal chords where they found yours.
