1. The google search I used:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22meet+the+press%22+%2Btheme+music&btnG=Google+Search

http://www.slate.com/id/2081608/

The network uses sections of this work for its other shows, including Tim Russert's analytic roundtable Meet the Press. Russert's theme music (titled "The Pulse of Events") consists of fast, complicated modulations that sound more urgent and wary than Brokaw's music: They foreground the show's relentless, logical ethos. There's even a fuguelike episode in the middle to suggest you're in for tense discussions about power.

10. This is Night-line!
I'm Ted Kop-pel.
I look like Howdy Doo-dy.

I know, wrong show, but your post remedied me of that old SNL skit with Joe Piscopo as Ted Koppel singing the Nightline theme song.

11. Watched MSNBC last night
It gave me nightmares. Why they think Russet is intelligent i don't know. Despise matthews, scarborough, schuster and williams. Brokaw had to shut down tweety and correct him. That was on the reagan remarks by tweety. Hillary did not say she liked reagan she said she admired his communication skills. In other words he told lies and people loved it. Sure fooled obama didn't' he.
