Suzanne Pleshette passes at 70

I loved her on "The Bob Newhart Show" and thought it was brilliant the way "Newhart" put her and Bob in bed and had Bob dreaming that his second series was just a dream.
RIP, Miss Pleshette.

She and Tom Poston married a few years back after having known one another for many decades. He died last year at 85. She was taken by cancer far too young.

Besides the Newhart Show, I remember her best from the movie "Bye Bye Birdie" in which she played songwriter Dick Van Dyke's long-suffering girlfriend. I always enjoyed her performances.
