65 years ago today, the Nazis agreed on the "final solution to the Jewish problem."

And two years later, on today's date, the Royal Air Force dropped 2,300 tons of bombs on Berlin.

It's hard to believe that only 65 years have passed since the Nazis began the march to one of the most terrible acts of genocide the world has ever seen.

Take a moment today to remember all the innocent victims of the tragedies set in motion by that heinous decision, then take another moment to remember those who fought to stop the Nazi war machine and close the death camps.

Let's stop the madness.

Today, Bush's America has set up prisons all over the world and declared we are above the Geneva Convention. We preach fear and retribution to those of a different religion. We have invaded countries that have never attacked us militarily.

America no has too many similarities to Nazi Germany in the 30's and 40's and the only people who can stop this frightening trend is the Populace. Not the corporations, not our current group of politicians.... Just us. We need to make enough noise so Washington cannot ignore us. We did this once before in the last war that was started on the basis of lies and we can do it again.

Help keep the Iraq Invasion on the front burner and support our troops by bringing them home quickly.

1. Is this the anneversary of the Wannsee Confrence?

held in the Berlin suburb of Wannsee on 20 January 1942. Why yes it is. The Nazis documented it all so well too and were quite proud of their accomplishments. They even put construction of the gas chambers and crematoria out for competitive bid.
