Dallas crowd calls for end to Roe vs. Wade as anniversary nears
http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/nation/stories/DN-roewaderally_20met.ART.State.Edition1.37d22c2.html
Penna Dexter seemed to speak for the hundreds gathered in downtown Dallas on Saturday afternoon when she told them they were commemorating "with sadness" the 35th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide.

"We are praying and we are asking ... for the overturn of Roe v. Wade," said Ms. Dexter, an announcer on the syndicated radio program "Life on the Line."

Those in attendance, who braved the cold for events planned mainly by three anti-abortion organizations, clapped and cheered as speakers addressed them.

Holly Morgan, director of media relations and communications for Planned Parenthood of North Texas, declined to comment on the anti-abortion event but said the group planned commemoration events of its own in the coming week.

2. Republicans will never repeal Roe. They like to take incremental steps
to keep the faithful loyal.

3. Abortion and gay marriage - the GOPs two biggest cash cows and vote-getters.
They don't really want to get rid of them.

5. I suggest you read the book The Nine by Jeffrey Toobin
The agenda of the republican party is to appoint Federalist Society Judges, who want not only to overturn Roe V Wade, but also move many issues back to the states, including some that involve civil rights

6. Thanks for the recommendation. If the issues go to states, maybe the blue
states can adopted by Canada.

What will they do with the anti-abortion crowd when they wake up and discover that the rest of the country is in shambles? That's why I think that they will nibble away at the issues.

The Dem's will repeal Roe v Wade if the Repukes and religious zealots will pledge to pay for every child's food, clothing, medical care and education until the age of 21.
