One site update on Obama speech...
I work in an office building overlooking Town Lake aka Auditorium shores.

The people are already lining up. Not a lot yet. I think the majority will be out there, like myself around 2:30 for Obama's speech.

1. People were just let in and it's filling up fairly quickly already.
I would say right now there is about 800 to 1000 folks down there.

3. Just got back, That was one powerful speech...
the place was packed and I was able to get a spot about 30 feet from him.

All off the top of his head, he spoke for roughly on hour.

He hit all the hot button issues: universal health care, getting out of Iraq, education reform, loan interest on student loans, etc.

but the concept I walked away from the speech that effected me the most was that he really means it.

I think after 6 years of the dullard* it was hard to imagine someone who really cares still exists that wants to be prez.

He spoke well and powerfully.

We still have a year and a half to go, but if he keeps it up at this level, I would be very hard pressed not to vote for him.
