10. remember the fire at the mgm grand? probably not. not very long

after that tragedy, a fire broke out in a restaurant in the Reno Hilton--every single person was evacuated, even though the fire was contained in the restaurant. they don't take chances. it isn't the gamglers who get to decide. the fire marshall is in control, and THAT person decides whether, and where, everyone can be while the fire is being fought.

11. I remember that. Casinos have some serious security details, too
not so much to protect people but to protect cash.

12. yes, the cash is far more important than the people. after the reno fire, one of the
supervisors was trying to tell everyone that they had to lock up the money, AND turn the keys in before they could leave. to say the least, people laughed hysterically. it was pointed out that the damned money is insured.

14. We used to play there twice a year or so and I remember when
nothing matched because it was being redecorated.

Those casino security guards look more serious than the SS detail that Junior has.
