2. Senate, according to electoral-vote.com
Retiring Republicans:
Colorado -- Wayne Allard is keeping his limited-terms promise.
New Mexico -- Pete Domenici says he has brain disease.
Virginia -- John Warner is calling it quits.

Retiring Democrats:
None.

Republicans in trouble:
Alaska -- Ted Stevens is being investigated by the IRS and FBI.
Maine -- Susan Collins is one of the last New England moderate Republicans.
Minnesota -- Norm Coleman is too conservative for his state.
New Hampshire -- John Sununu thinks that supporting the war in Iraq is okay.
Oregon -- Gordon Smith is a decent Republican in an increasingly Democratic state. Think Lincoln Chaffee.

Democrats in trouble:
Louisiana -- Mary Landrieu is apparently responsible for Hurricane Katrina.
South Dakota -- Tim Johnson is still recovering from his surgery and SD is a very Republican state.
