Novel idea for responding to Bush's SOTU message

with all due respect to Gov. Sebilius who will do fine, but in a way in this election year this would be a unique opportunity for our remaining candidates to speak directly to the American people. Each of them: Clinton, Edwards and Obama could be given five minutes each to respond to the Bush SOTU message. They could each (briefly) give a synopsis of what they would do as president and the only thing being that they cannot criticize any of the other candidates with their time.

Just a thought.

Americans may be getting dumber with each passing year, but we still respond to visual presentation aids.
