Went to my youngest daughters birthday party, all I got was a lousy grandkid

My daughter Serena (Beanie) had an early miscarriage almost a year ago. Tonights dinner to celebrate her birthday and promotion to management (both happened today) had a surprise I didn't expect. :-) This will be her first, and our grandchild #3. One from each of Marta and my children.

9. Wish I had some news like that in my own life.. I'd love to have my own

child and a promotion.. All I have found out is that I'm not pregnant, and the job I was hoping for and praying for didn't come through.. Better luck next time..

Serena's husband has two very Democratic members. One of Aaron's uncles is a former State senator. Another is an officer of the local IBEW. Aaron's grandfather co founded that same union local. :-)
