1. Here you are! MLK all the way!
My little 4 year old came home from school talking about "It's Martin King's Birthday!" and he sang the cutest little song... !!!

4. Number 5!
I wish more tributes to Martin Luther King would focus on his life after 1965. As Glen Ford of Black Agenda Report suggested on CounterSpin, you really can't pay tribute to MLK without mentioning war. For the last years of his life, it was really his obsession. In fact, it may have been what got him killed.

5. Hell Yeah!!!!
What the hell!?!!! MLK an American hero! Make no mistake about it. On MLK day, I told everyone "Happy MLK day".

Sure, as a white guy I got some funny looks. Because as we all know, it's supposed to be some sort of "bogus" holiday. But screw that, MLK was the man! He was a good American and I'm proud to be associated with him.

Hell yeah, MLK!!!

6. What Happened
What got MLK killed was being in a segregated city of Memphis. Of course to get equality one must take chances in life.
