Our $1200 loan is going straight into paying off debt.

6. Same here, and MEDICAL debt
Gee, that $1200 will cover almost 10% of what I have incurred this year. And I have health insurance!

But who needs universal healthcare?

10. I'm glad to see it being referred to as a loan as it surely is
Edited on Sat Jan-26-08 10:16 AM by madokie
the lame duck is delusional to say the least
Oh edit: We plan to put it into our savings account so there won't be much stimulus there huh. sorry but as we get older it gets more difficult to spend money for the sake of spending money as is being implied with this.

11. At least it's an interest-free loan.
Paying off debt may be the smartest thing to do with it.

14. I'm putting whatever I get into paying down debt, as well...
Of course, it'll do diddly to affect the economy, but I guess it'll give a needed cash infusion to the creditors. However, this does nothing for the poor.
