I'm watching Russert and three young acolytes discussing the primaries. One of them called Bill Clinton the Obi Won Kenobi of political campaigning. The other three, like dopes, nob and giggle in agreement. Next thing I expect to hear is that he's the Democrat's Karl Rove.

But hey ...... maybe its the white hair?

The whole idea was that got into Obama's head and now is getting into McCain's head by telling a story about how his wife and Senator John are such good friends and that McCain is a good guy .... essentially and endorsement for McCain to have to live down.

1. Both Chris Matthews and Chuck Todd are hammering the meme that

Bill Clinton has gotten inside Obama's head and messed him up.

What nonsense! It's not Obama who melts down every time the cameras are on him.

It was Obama's win in Iowa that got inside Bill Clinton's head. He took it personally, instead of acknowledging that Obama has an inspirational message and ran a better ground game than all the Clinton professional politicians could manage.
