I was at the gym watching "Cup of Joe" with Joe Scarborough. I didn't catch the complete jist of what they were initially talking about but it had to do with women in politics ala Hillary. They were referencing Margatret Thatcher and how her husband fit into the equation.

They then talked about Golda Meir. Not one of them - Joe, Pat Buchannan or David Schuster - knew if Golda Meir was married or not. They had to look it up on the Internet over a commercial break.

Now I wouldn't expect the average person off the street to know this, but certainly if some guy on a Cybex machine in Kalamazoo, Michigan knows that Golda Meir had a husband, I would expect people who are pontificating about politics and political history to know this fact.

Jesus on a trailer hitch, we're being spoon fed "information" by complete and utter know-nothings. Lets just let the sports guy give us the news...I seriously don't think it would make any difference.

1. Maybe they don't know if she was married or not because her husband
wasn't injecting himself front and center all the time.

Now if she had a husband like that EVERYONE would know.

5. Wouldn't You Just Love
Wouldn't you just absolutely LOVE to see any of the talking heads on MSNBC compete on "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?"

Better yet -- wouldn't it be delicious to see some 5th grade do the job of Joe or Pat or Mika?

6. Buchanan is a pretty smart guy.
I'm surprised. The word is out that everyone in Olde Washington wants to sit next to him at dinner parties, because he's so interesting. He grew up in D.C. and is the ultimate insider.

7. Goes to show you don't have to be smart to be a talking head.

All you need is good hair and a flashy smile.

Maybe there's a future for Romney after all.
