Uh, Kennedys, weren't you progressives at one point?

1. The Kennedy's are progressive
and I totally understand--while I don't agree with--their endorsements.
We should all just leave it at that.

2. I'd like to know
what scores the Kennedy's are settling. Sounds intriguing.

3. Did no one think the Clintons' machinations would ever come home to roost?
You can only pander to Republicans for so long before
your friends the Democrats start to notice.

Now I'll grant you, it isn't clear that Obama is any
better, but he doesn't have the record of back-stabbing
and triangulation that the Clintons have built up and,
compared to Edwards, Politicians tend to like to endorse
someone who's more likely to win (so they can eventually
bask in the reflected glory).

4. Agreed, and they appear to be private ones..
there seems to have been some machinations going on between the Clintons and the Kennedys. We'll probably never know.

5. And This Is News???
Either call it "settling scores" or supporting your friends...depends on what side you're on. Most endorsements have some quid pro quo attached...support for a pet issue or inclusion in a future cabinet.

Now Caroline came out for Obama (first time I can recall her endorsing anyone)...and Uncle Teddy is for Clinton...so you decide who is more "progressive".
