Pardon my x-post, but I think the issue of criminal gangs raping the Net and blowing up news sites in their wake is an important one: it's our common asset the Internet as a whole that is under attack - not "just" the freedom to express ourselves and share ideas, news and events.

The Panama News has been shut down, after some criminal hijacked their server and spiked their traffic up to the point of pushing the site off its bandwidth limits.
