Journalling > Purposed and Proposed Functions: Candidates should use their increasing use of public broadcasting resources to Teach, rather than to fight each other and model other useless conflicts to our children. Public communication resources (radio, tv, internet, public educational computers and networks) have better uses than to see adults bicker. There seem to be too many uses that are not a good public information model, so the Local Community should talk about these issues and make their decisions. Teaching would be a better use of the public resources; Candidates should meet Public Communication Benchmarks and be required to Teach, and be more careful about the models they provide to Our Kids. Fair Use of public resources would make Public Education, Public Training, and Public Teaching (Let’s take a stand against petty bitching, feigned outrage, BS, and lying) as part of an ongoing Public Dialogue that Teaches. Public Education must be a basic Standard Use Policy for Public Communication Resources. We need Public discussion of Public Communication Standards for Public Communication Resources.
(i.e. Public Standards for the Uses of one or more Public Communication Resources should also have some required dedication to the Definition of Functional Educational - Use(s) policies - in Public Discourse, to create a tools for Standards that addresses practical local/need problem solving in Public Education ((and also to restrict it uses for pointless and useless bickering, personality conflicts, and cults of personality, in favor of constructive group outcome-goal defined uses, etc. etc. ) Public resources should be for Teaching Constructive Public and Positivistic Local User-defined Purpose(s) such as Teaching and Training, and Local Community Building Education. MSM should not be the only use of our considerable Public Broadcast Bandwith and other Resources. We should encourage talk about broadcast spectrum standards to define grassroots learning community/s that define their own Local Teaching and Local Economics . . . for Public Use of Public TV and Radio and Broadband Resources, in Paulo Freire-ian self defined problem/need solving, heuristic processes, by means of constructive local user-dialogue, for defining functional, organic, grassroots, research and educational application, community building, purposed and accountable development groups. (A sketch of the structures of such groups is outlined by Paolo Freire in Pedagogy of the Oppressed, for small, self-developed, organic, functionally autonomous, educational communities, e.g. Freire-ian and Dewey-ian educational groups, and other community based educational organizations, for small, local-function purposed groups, to Teach and Train with shared Public User Standards, for identification of Constructive, Local Public Communication and discussion(s) of needs assessment + public responses to needs-assessments . . . for local, educational community development dialogue, defining User-Groups and Functional Policies, in a Freedom of Information, Public Communications Environment that includes Constructive Fair Political Usage(s), Needs-assessment and self-accountability based-and-purposed instances of educational entitities.)
